2017-2018 tuition has not yet been set. More details to come.

Tuition for the 2016-2017 school year is $14,175 per full time family. This rate includes the cost of textbooks, bus transportation and most course related class trips throughout the school year.

Tuition for a family who has a child(ren) enrolled in ONLY the JK or SK program will pay the part time rate of $9,135 per family. The JK and SK programs currently run three days per week - full days Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

There is a one-time administration fee for new families of $500. Families joining us from another OACS associated school are exempt from this fee.

Tuition reductions may be available to you if:

  • You also have child(ren) attending a Christian High School
  • Your primary source of income is derived in Ministry

Please contact the school to determine your family's eligibility for these discounts.

Timothy Christian School is registered with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) as a charity. Parents may be eligible to receive a receipt for tax purposes for the amount of tuition paid that exceeds the cost per pupil in a calendar year. The amount of receipt issued is determined on a number of factors including the amount of tuition paid, number of students enrolled, and the calculated cost per pupil.

EXAMPLE ONLY: (The following example is based on one child enrolled in full time program - every family's financial situation is different and therefore is affected differently)

- $ 3,500 (Sample calculated cost per pupil for 2016)
$10,675 (Donation receipt issued for tax purposes)

Timothy also issues "Childcare Expense" receipts which covers the time spent on supervision before and after classes or during lunch periods and recess. Any claims for childcare portion of tuition are subject to regulations set out by CRA in Form T778. Families are responsible to determine their own eligibility to claim this receipt.

We acknowledge that the financial cost of Christian Education may be high, at the same time, we believe that the Christian Education we offer is well worth the price. In a very real way, tuition at TCS is an investment in the future of our children, of our Christian communities, and of the world which God has called us to serve.
